MASALA CHAI RECIPE
MY FAVOURITE HOME-MADE MASALA CHAI INGREDIENTS: 1 tablespoon whole green Cardamom pods with shell 7gm 2 tablespoon Fennel seeds 14gm 2 teaspoons whole Cloves 4gm 1 teaspoon Ajwain (carom seeds)2gm 2 teaspoons Ground Ginger 3gm ½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon 1 teaspoon Whole Black Pepper 6gm 2 tablespoons normal Black tea powder Sugar or Jaggery to taste TO MAKE MASALA CHAI Add all of the spices to a spice grinder and grind them well to make a fine powder. TO MAKE CHAI FOR 6 PERSONS Add 3cups of water and chai masala to a pot and bring it to a boil. Add normal black tea powder and it boil for 3 minutes. Add 3 cups of milk and make it full boil, until you like the colour of the chai, then turn off the flame and strain into teacups. Add sugar/jaggery powder into the teacups and enjoy the best home-made masala chai 😊 TO MAKE 1 CUP OF CHAI 8 ounces water ½ teaspoon chai masala 1 teaspoon loose black tea powder 2 ounces of whole milk 1 to 2 teaspoons of sugar/jaggery to taste
